YIGIT

TO YIGIT

I wont be happy
and I refuse to believe that
I can change my life conditions
I realize this maybe a shock
money
is more important than
family
I think that
I will never take the custody of my son
I do not concede that
10 years from now Yigit and I will be celebrating his graduation from high school
Everybody will know that
Yigit will be living with his mother for years to come
No longer can it be said that
I care about my son
It will be evident that
I am apathetic and lethargic
It is foolish to presume that
There is hope


and all of this will be true


unless I chose to reverse it.
